The marching band participates in weekly competitions around Southern Maine and plays at the home football games. This is such a great way for your student to express himself or herself through music in a different way than concert or jazz band.
FOOTBALL GAMES: 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm,
meet at ELHS at 5:00pm for dinner and be bussed to Walton Field.
SATURDAY SHOWS: Rehearsals *9:00 am to 12:00 noon,
Meet back at ELHS, usually around 3:00 pm, but will be announced every week depending on where the show is.
*Color Guard and Drumline/Pit may meet at 8:00 am.
REHEARSALS:
Saturdays: *9:00 am to 12:00 noon @ Walton Field
Tuesdays: 6:00 pm to 8:30pm @ Walton Field
Wednesdays: 2:45 pm to 5:00 pm @ the Auburn Mall parking lot
(that’s right…in the mall parking lot-where Porteous used to be on the Shaw’s side) Transportation provided to the mall—first rehearsal is Wednesday Sept. 30th.
*Color Guard and Drumline/Pit may meet at 8:00 am.

Fri. October 27th: Lewiston/EL Football game @ Lewiston
Sat. October 28th: Biddeford Show (FINALS)

Mon. November 27th: Auburn Tree Lighting Parade (More info TBA)

***COLORGUARD & DRUMLINE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL EQUIPMENT BEFORE AND AFTER ANY REHEARSALS, GAMES OR SHOWS.***
That means that you be at the school to load equipment 30 minutes before an event or rehearsal and go back to the school to help unload equipment after any and all events.
DIRECTIONS TO ALL SHOWS
Westbrook High School
Westbrook High School is located at 125 Stroudwater Street, Westbrook, Maine
From Route 95 North: Take exit 47 (formerly 7B).
Turn left onto Rand Rd. (becomes Route 25).
Take the Woodlawn Ave. ramp. Keep left on Woodlawn at fork.
Turn right onto Stroudwater St.
School is on your left.
Lewiston High School
Lewiston High School is located at 156 East Avenue, Lewiston, Maine.
Marshwood High School
Marshwood High School is located at 260 Route 236, South Berwick, Maine.
Route 95 from the North: Take Exit 19.
At the lights, take a right onto Sanford Road.
Go approximately 1/2 mile and take a left onto Route 9.
Follow Route 9 into the center of North Berwick.
At this set of lights, take a left onto Route 4.
Follow Route 4 into the center of South Berwick.
Take a left at the intersection, and take another left onto Route 236.
The High School is approximately 2 miles down on the right.
Old Orchard Beach High School
Take Maine Turnpike to Exit 5 (Saco).
Follow 195 to Old Orchard Beach exit.
You will not turn off - 195 and route 5 merge into Saco Ave. which leads into O.O.B.
Follow this road into O.O.B. - past a small rotary and a 7-11. As you go past the rotary, be sure the 7-11 Store stays on your right.
You will then pass a car wash, laundromat, tent/trailer park, church, schools.
Go approximately 2 miles from where you exit off 195.
You will come to a traffic light - Police Station is on one corner and Loranger Middle School on the other.
Turn left at the traffic light onto E. Emerson Cummings Blvd.
Follow E. Emerson Cummings Blvd. to High School. Police Station is on the corner, then the entrance to the ballpark, the football field and track and then the High School.
Turn right into the circular driveway. Park in the side lot, not the front lot.
Portsmouth High School
From Route 95 North: Take exit 5 to Portsmouth Traffic Circle, Route 1 Bypass South.
At the third set of lights turn left (car dealership on right).
At the stop sign (~200 yards) make a sharp right turn.
At the yellow flashing light (~100 yards) turn left.
PHS will be directly in front of you.
Water House Field - Biddeford, Maine
From Route 95: Take Exit 32.
Turn left onto Rt. 111 after the tolls.
Continue straight on Rt. 111 through three lights.
At the fourth light(Burger King and McDonalds) veer just to the right of Burger King.
Waterhouse Field is 1/4 mile on the left.
